| Job Summary: |
Under the supervision of the Chief, the Administrative Assistant III position will be responsible for performing a variety of complex administrative tasks and providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Chief.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.
| Job Duties: |
• Providing general oversight of the day-to-day office operations, such as responding to telephone calls, letters, and email inquiries, mail distribution, file maintenance, special projects, and assisting the agency staff and visitors with general inquiries
• Ordering office supplies and maintaining office inventory, assisting with budget tracking and grants
• Coordinating and maintaining calendar(s) as appropriate; scheduling meetings and appointments
• Assisting with the planning of events and special activities within the department
• Attending meetings, taking and distributing meeting minutes
| Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): |
Knowledge:
• Computer software to include, but not limited to, MS Word, Excel, Google Suite, and agency-specific programs
• Proper user of the English language, including correct grammar and spelling

| Selective Preference(s): |
• Three years of responsible administrative experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment from an accredited college or university and two years of responsible administrative experience; OR a Master's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment from an accredited college or university and one year of responsible administrative experience
