As a Licensed ACA Sales Agent, you will be provided inbound leads to assist individuals and families in enrolling into health insurance plans through the Affordable Care Act marketplace. This position requires a substantial amount of hours, hustle, and self management during the peak enrollment period but will allow you an uncapped earning potential. This role will be long-term as long as performance metrics are hit. As a Licensed ACA Sales Agent, you will be the expert in answering questions, educating individuals, and executing the sale of policies.
How you can be Exceptional in this role:
- Conduct remote consultations via phone to guide clients through ACA plan options
- Assess clients' eligibility for subsidies and cost-sharing reductions on the federal or state exchange
- Enroll consumers in ACA-compliant health plans using platforms like Healthcare.gov or state exchanges.
- Clearly explain insurance plan benefits, provider networks, premiums, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions using CRM tools
- Ensure full compliance with federal (CMS) and state regulations
- Meet individual sales goals, productivity metrics, and quality standards
- Stay current on all ACA updates, plan offerings, and enrollment guidelines
- Assist with Special Enrollment Period (SEP) and Open Enrollment Period (OEP) activities
How you will help us Succeed together:
- Active Health Insurance License in at least 3 states (will be required to show proof prior to offer being extended)
- 1+ years of successful health insurance sales experience (ACA-specific experience not necessary)
- Strong computer and internet skills (CRM software, phone systems, Microsoft Office or Google Suite)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule (including evenings/weekends)
